Me too. I think I have more ammo in calibers I don't own then for what I do own. I need to catalogue what I have so I can sell some of it off.

      That's a great idea.

The problem with the paint markers is that box is forever dedicated to that caliber.
The tape is temporary but will still last as long as you need it.

Don't forget to create a Excel spreadsheet to document everything. I know exactly round count, type, and locations.

Same here. I asked about storing a few thousand rounds with reasonable security, but now realize that is not really an issue.

The issue is that I only have a few thousand rounds to store. I need to stock up now and worry about where to keep it later.
Just taking up space in (what is no longer) the second-worst small town in California.

It's all stacked in a small closet in unmarked 50cal ammo cans. labeling takes the sport out of finding what you need.

I have a tendency towards OCD, so if I HAD a label maker I'd definitely be using that instead. But the tape works. You can't see in the photo, but I also turned the ends of the tape back on themselves for about 1/8 of an inch, creating a little flap on each side, so when you want to take them off they should come right off without having to pick at them with a fingernail.

Very nice. They have medications for this kind of behavior, you know... J/K, those look good.

I tend to be OCD, but I'm also ADHD.
I've got a P-Touch and an older Casio (that I bought when the cheapest P-Touch was $200)... and I think I've used both of them.... once?

I'll set up and organize a beautiful toolbox where everything has it's place.... then within 2 months, the drawers are full of spare parts and the most commonly used tools are in a (brand new) tool bag either in a saddlebag or on the floor next to the bike

I do that when I plan to remove tape.
