Cash only at range areas or does the plastic fly?

IIRC, it is cash only. I've never seen credit card machines on the line. Now, in the "store" where you can start the paperwork on your new gun, I assume that there are credit card machines. But for shooting, bring cash.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

If we're going to buy a gun this weekend, do we need the standard 2 forms of identification? Last time I used my Driver License and the registration from my car, but I'm not driving tomorrow so if I'm going to need my registration, I need to remember to bring it. Anyone know?

If your DL has you current address on it and you are buying a long gun, all you need is your DL. but if you are buying a handgun, or your DL does NOT have your current address on it, then you will need adddional documentation to make the purchase.

look at this thread for more info, http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=327217

I went last year. It was pretty cool but I spent most of the time hanging out at the CalGuns booth.

My DL has my current address and I just bought a gun about 60 days ago that I needed 2 forms of ID for, but in reading that link It looks like I'll need a second form of ID since I'll be buying a hand gun.

I was sorely disappointed with the event. Was there Friday when it opened, it was packed and there wasn't a Sig booth, or if there was I couldn't find it. Each Turner's employee I asked questions was clueless and had the "I'm too busy to talk to you" body language down pat.

Bummer for them because I had a grand with me and was ready to buy

Glad I didn't make the trip. On a side note, you could have traveled just West a few minutes & checked out the Orange County Gun show. Lots of SIG dealers there

VERY DISAPPOINTED!! This fair sucked!! I drove like some 75 miles to check it out. I want my admission refunded and gas money, oh and money to wash my car from all the dirt. I did not see any 2000sq feet store like it stated in the ad, and in the small Turners tent I experienced the worst customer service, which figures, we are talking about Turners. Sure you could try out a firearm that you are interested in but only if your willing to spend 30 minutes in line. Man I wish I would have chose Crossroads of the west instead. Oh yeah I also had a grand ready to spend.
