I agree with that. Like a lot of reporters these days (especially on Fox from my point of view) it seems to be more about entertainment versus actual journalism. I take everything he says with a grain of salt, but I still think he's entertaining to watch.

He claimed, on national TV (the low channels) that he boned Bette Midler, merely to brag about it. I don't care much about Bette, or Gerald, but he is a jerk. His transgressions as a "journalist" are very well known. That someone still signs a paycheck for him is an indictment for all of journalism.....IMO.

I really don't think it would have taken more than a click on Wikipedia to figure out a large part of the reason for some people's animosity to him.
