the orange county law enforcement have a much larger budget than los angeles too. What sucks is that these guys don't really need that type of firepower unless thye are gonna do some gun grabbing. its all part of the militarization of police, just like military are trained in home invasions and clearing buildings like the cops do. Soon they may be one and the same, a military police unit. Just there for our safety of course.

It seems to me that if we want to be being able to buy anything we want in the way of firearms and celebrate the availability of OLL lowers, some of these are going to end up in the hands of bad guys. If one of our LEO's runs up against a well armed bad guy, I would like to see them able to match up gun for gun until reinforcements arrive and squash the perp (assuming he is still alive).
