What good are these laws if AG MoonBeam won't enforce them? Try this with somebody over the ham radio operator's license exams, and the FCC will come down hard on the examiner and his club who overcharged an applicant. The feds do not f--- around in this kind of situation. These crooks lose their examiner's certificate. Thieving gun dealers should lose their licenses too...

      Thanks for the heads up!

This is great idea. I will be going home on leave in May and with current white house politics. I will be purchasing my XD and if I am able to work it out also a AR-15. Wish me luck.

In North County San Diego area.. FWIW

Duncans would not touch an OLL transfer.

Precision Arms would do and asked 65 transfer fee and DROS + sales tax if out of state item.

National Police Supply gys were super helpful, they as $50 transfer + DROS an not tax

I contacted lastly Don Gussler and he has the best rates & whom I will be using. A little hard to get a hold of right now as he has some limited hours until May 15th (evenings 5-8 only M, T, TH, Fri).. but got him by email
        10 +1 in the chamber

Great work to Jicko and all!

I've been using a print out of the list as a reference at home and at work to handle my friends/ co-workers and my transfers.

I understand the limitations with how we can view the list on the forums.

I'd prefer to have the list sort by NORCAL & SOCAL dealers to avoid some confusion. I'm not at all familiar with some of the city names, area codes, and the physical locations of some of these cities.

So, I sorted the list by NORCAL & SOCAL, then by Dealer name or Area Code:

He said he is OLL Friendly.
He actually charges $35 fee + $25 DROS.

I just spoke with the owner of Shooter's Paradise in Oxnard and he is now willing to do sales, transfers and PPTs of OLL weapons. Their transfer fee for out of state purchases is $105 including DROS.

Is this list for PPT or any gun transfer? Why is Ammo Bros making me pay them $75.00 when the list says $50?

By the way, for person-to-person in-store transfer, FFL is limited to $10 on top of the DROS fee. (PC section 12072(d))

                      $50.00 Ammos Bros fee + $25 DROS = $75.00

PPT shouldn't be above the State mandated max fee of $35. I know that there are dealers that charge more for PPT, but they're not supposed to.

                            Hi Jicko,

I found this in the OP:
                            "AKI Security Training 714.379.9115 Huntington B. $25($?) No OLL / Jim Bowen 562.500.3633 (cell) / http://firearms-training.info"

The "No OLL" is not correct, Jim do "OLL and CA legal AR, AK, etc" transfer. Please give him a call to verify if any doubt. The fee did not change.

                            Regards,
                            Maxima

Jim is a great guy. Did my 1st transfer through him and went very smooth. $50 total for a out of state transfer.

don't know the answer to the OLL question though. didn't ask

I've done recent PPT's at Walker '47 in Anaheim and at Annie's Get Your Gun in Corona. Both are nice places and both were $35.

And Walker '47 (Named after the famed Colt Walker revolver used by the Texas Rangers some 160 years ago) is a great place to sit and chew the fat, free coffee, and interesting Old West stuff to gawk at and to buy. I think they still sell Black Powder too.
