List of CA FFLs & their fee schedule

Many had been asking, so I think, maybe we can keep a list going, and we'll try to keep it updated.

Fees quoted is *on top of* (ie. not including) the standard $25 CA DROS fee. Fees quoted is for internet-, mail-order, etc... (ie. sending out signed FFL, receving firearm, DROS & keeping the firearm for you for 10 days)

Fees quoted is for 1st firearm and ($n) is for each additional firearm after the 1st.

    Code:

    * Please send me FFLs that you know of, and I'll update the list; also, please let me know if I am wrong and if any of their schedule has changed *
(Please send info to me in the EXACT format of what is listed above; at a minimum, I need the name, phone, location, and price)

By the way, for person-to-person in-store transfer, FFL is limited to $10 on top of the DROS fee. (PC section 12072(d))

For private party transfers involving one or more long guns, or a private party transfer involving one handgun, the total allowable fees, including the DROS, safety, and dealer transfer fees, are not to exceed $35.00. The dealer may charge an additional dealer-service fee of $10.00 per each additional firearm transferred.

There's an FFL in Chula Vista? Wow.

Roger's Relics is 55 for the first long gun including DROS. (DROS is 25, transfer is 30). Each add'l long gun on the same order is 10 bucks. Have another order on the same DROS, it's 30 for the transfer and 10 for each add'l. For example - order two NDS3's and two FAL's from DSA you will pay - 25 for DROS, 30 for transfer of one NDS3 + 10 for second one, 30 for DSA + 10 for second one. But order a bunch from one FFL (like CWS, DD's, lanworld, etc) and you only pay the 30 and 10 for each add'l.

METCO Firearms #2/707.864.2666/Fairfield/$50/Staffed M-F 1100-1700, Limited stock (building), mostly special orders, Kimber at "Dealer Price" (MAP), FN Distributor, Sig, Aimpoint, Benchmade dealer; Sorry NO OLLs due to CA DOJ BOF threats on our MG/AW permitting.

The shop is located in southern Fairfield, practically Cordelia, right at the intersection of hwy80 x hwy680. We're mostly through our construction, opening up the sales floor for more merchandise. Call ahead to verify that the store is staffed (you'll probably be helped by Paul during 1100-1700hrs), since we routinely have to do demonstrations for PDs and they may require Paul to assist.

If you need assistance on the nights or weekends, I'm the best point of contact.

Feel free to remove that... I am no longer associated with that store, and they have not received a license, and may not until (if ever) ownership changes hands.

Gunbroker.com has a "Find an FFL dealer near you" feature:

Enter your zip and it generates a list. Of course, you then have to start calling and find out which ones are still in business, how much higher their fees really are, that they won't accept OLLs/Saiga's/anything-that-I-want, etc., etc. but it's still useful for finding some garage FFLs.
