After I complete my AR and buy my safe, I'm only buying a couple of other guns for the rest of the year. Unless I drive to J&G in the summer for C&R handgun buying frenzy!

        OH YEA

The whole ammo shipping thing made me spend money on ammo and now I need to get a aimpoint T1 to shoot it all. It never ends.

I really realllly want to stop with school starting up pretty soon. Need..er, "want" 2 shorty magazines for my rifle, sling attatchment & sling for an Appleseed event, intro class to handguns, handgun case, pay the rest of my payment on my handgun and ammo! Thank god for "layaway", though

Indeed, it never does, esp. since the State wants to take it all away from us, which sort of makes me want to buy more and more and more.

Same here! I've had half a dozen times where I bid on something online (gunbroker or eBay) and I didn't quite had the money for it at the time, but I managed to pull thru them and get my funds together (even had to recycle cans and bottles a few times, lol).

I find myself selling stuff that I have all the time, just to make up for the money spent on guns

Here is the weird part... I spend more money on accessories than the price of a handgun.

                    EX:
                    Glock $399

                    Night sight $109
                    4 extra mags $100
                    3.5 connector $25
                    extended slide stop $16
                    talon grip $10
                    extra recoil springs $15
                    holster $80

I do this for almost every gun I own. I need help

                      Ordered another Glock today.

Now I need a new Serpa holster, extra mags, Pearce grip extensions and an IWB holster.

Another way to avoid making another impulsive buy... avoid surfing thru gunbroker auctions out of boredom. It's got me every time.

I feel better in that I plan out my gun purchases like serious parents would plan out a pregnancy or something. I mainly do it because I am cheap and I want my money's worth.

That being said, there is a difference in penny pinching, and carefully spending your money. I would never buy cheap, low grade crap.
