Yeah, you might as well strap your guns on and walk the streets of East Oakland, or East LA. I would not consider OC there. I got the hell out before the neighborhood I lived in went turned into a cesspool. I can't believe the ex- still lives there ("I like the house"). *shrug*

I used to be the plant manager of the power plant, behind Libbey-Owens Ford glass plant in Lathrop and go up to the gunshops there in Stockton near the university. I did not like driving through South Stockton.

I was stabbed there in 1979 at age 12 (walking home from 7th grade), then again in '82 at age 15 (walking my dog in a park). I was an average middle-class white kid who always made a concerted effort to stay out of trouble.

So when I say the town is a **** hole, is that me being limp?
