I'll have to double check on this. I suspect that you are correct because I see it all the time at the gun show parking lot in front of LEO.

I think I'm the only Calgunner in the Houston area right now. The others have settled San Antonio, DFW, and El Paso because it's not as humid as Houston.

iam 90 miles south of iah and having been born and raised in southern california i would have to agree- the weather sucks. its weird to look outside at dark black skies with rain and wind and still have it be 85 degrees out. the one thing that makes it more tolerable is that everyone is drenched in sweat. you dont have to worry about being the sweat covered pig because pretty much everyone is. i know that i would be pissed if i found out that my parents could have raised us out here and diddnt. thankfully i married a native so that its not that bad that iam another california transplant.

Sounds like you're past Pasadena on the way to Galveston, Joe Horn country.
I can tolerate the weather because I was born in the tropics, but I can see how it just destroys some people.

I was waiting in a Taco Bueno (blegh, by the way), and a Collin Count Deputy was in there too. I think he spied my XD hiding on my hip. I gave him a side glance and he gave me a wink and a nod. if in CA, I prolly woulda been proned out. I <3 Texas.

Thanks for the info. I did some homework on a trust and have to agree this is the best way to go. Looks like Texas is in for a few more transplants. Btw how's the fishing in the gulf?

Also, for now the UT permit is good in TX. I plan on getting my TX CHL soon, but for now the UT one works.
