    Tula ammo does what?

I've read various stories about .223 steel case tula ammo, there's always a few reviews with 1 star ratings. They claim it's not so good, jams, dirty, doesn't function right when your barrel gets hot and have to beat it out of the barrel with their cleaning rods. Well, ran across some on sale for less than $5 a box and I have a broken shell extractor and a couple of extra cleaning rods so I thought, Got nothin to lose but to learn a lesson the hard way. THE RESULTS...Not a single problem, even mixed it up a bit with brass ammo the barrel was getting hot and the Tula did fine. SO are the reviews crap or did I just get lucky?

I have never had a problem with it on the occasions when I have used it. I have put Tula thru my glock, xd40, and ar15 and never once had a problem. It does get the gun a little more dirty, but never had issues with causing jams or breaking parts on the gun.

I've used Tula in my glock and shot a few hundred rounds through an AR-15 with absolutely no issues. It might be a bit dirtier, but the guns get cleaned anyway. Tula/Wolf is fine ammo.

A good article about how to run Wolf reliably:

It's been said on this board several times that if your gun won't run on wolf/tula. The problem isn't with the ammo.

I didn't say that, but I agree with it.

I've also seen tula ammo on sale but never jumped on them since I did a search on CGN and online and seen it was a 50/50 chance it was gona work in a reliable manner and didn't wana chance it and damage my AR and XDs. But seems fellow calgunners haven't had any major malfunctions like I've heard of stories in the past online and I guess I'm gona give tula a try and see how it goes,

You are supposed to say you hate it so nobody else buys it and you can have it all to yourself. I shoot this stuff every other week, about 250 rounds of .223 each time and I have not had a single problem yet and I only clean my rifle every three or four times I go. I have also mixed it with brass and brown bear and all the other things you arent supposed to do and still no problems. Truthfully, Ive had more problems with brass ammo after long days of shooting or no cleaning. Put this in your rifle and suddenly it runs like an ak. Now go post a one star review so it will be in stock next time I order.

I did get a round stuck in the chamber from the polymer melting. It was after about 350 rounds and 2 hours of shooting. Got it out by hitting the rifle against the ground and pulling on the charging handle.

I'd keep shooting it but the range I go to doesn't allow steel in the bullet.

For $5/box for .223 it doesnt hurt to try. I bought 5 boxes. One day I'll try them but for now they go in the SHTF ammo can along with the Wolf

this stuff is total crap.. ALL OF IT.. so anyone that has any should bring it by my place and ill disposed of it for you.. ill even give you 3 cents a round for it.. this is good for you cuz if you bring me around 600 rounds of tula ammo ill give you enough money to pick up a brick of federal 22 from walmart.. thats a good deal if ever there was one...

so far ive had one fail to fire.. this was the only hickup ive ever had with my glock.. i ejected the round saw the smashed primer.. loaded it and fired it again and it went off..
ive run hundreds of round through my AR.. i think i had one fail to ignite.. i found one on the ground next to me with a blown out primer.. i was trying to rebend a smashed up mag that day so i was ejecting lots of rounds that were not feeding right so honestly im not even sure if it was mine or not..
Boy the way Glen Miller played, songs that made the hit parade, guys like us we had it made, those were the days, and you know where you were then, girls were girls and men were men, mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again, didn't need no welfare states everybody pulled his weight, gee our old Lasalle ran great, those were the days!

I've ran it in my AR without any problems. Buy quality and it should shoot anything you feed it, imo
