last night my house was broken in to. stolen were 4 pistols my laptop and brand new ipod touch as well as a black and ****e checkered backpack.

i live in the 562 area code and just want to inform you out there that my pistols are on the streets.

the pistols that were stolen a springfield 1911-A1 in 45acp. it is a combat green color with wood grips. rarely shot!

S&W 500. stainless with standard black rubber grips and burris brushed aluminum scope.

S&W model 4566 in 45acp. stainless with black houge grips.

and a small 25auto pistol. cant recall make and model.

if you notice anything of the sort, feel free to message me or call the police or something. i dont know, this is my first time having my house broken in to.

Ug. What really bothers me is the idea of a S&W 500 being used to commit crime. After all the fuss the VPC raised about it being explicitly designed to kill police officers and all that...realistically speaking, criminals prefer cheap guns, the 500 is expensive, they would much rather saw off a shotgun and use slugs.

But every time the 500 gets used for a crime, it gives them fuel for their propaganda. Ugh. I can see it now:

"A S&W 500 was recently used to rob a store! Handguns aren't used for hunting! These weapons are made for criminals!"

Nevermind they use the .22 rimfire the vast majority of the time...

That said, I know finding a safe that can house a S&W 500's box is tough. Short of taking the gun out of the box and throwing the box in the trash, it can be hard to find a safe that can hold that monster.
