Does anyone else here not sell their guns?

Looking back at the recent history of this state, seems like guns either get banned or drastically increase in price, or both. Therefore I'm reluctant to sell any of my guns from OLLs to even the cheapo Yugo SKS, just because I have no idea what legal category they might fall under in 10 years.

I am the same way, my collection isn't big enough yet that I don't think I would regret a sale.

I don't sell anything. I've tried, but everything I have is just a little bit special to me....

and unless something happens where i *need* cash now, and can only get it by selling guns, i won't sell any of them

          I'm a buyer; not a seller.
I've never sold a gun, and never plan to.
Even my "cheapies" mean something to me; most came from my father.
My collection is only in the low 20's; not nearly enough yet.

I feel the same way.. For awhile I wanted to sell my Remington 710 because everyone one made me feel bad about buying it. Then I figured, "It's a gun, it's reliable and accurate, and the money's already spent" .. No reason to sell it and lose money and a gun.

I was thinking I wanted to sell my stripped Stag receiver because I cant have a "real" AR-15, but once again I figure that getting rid of it would only be a waste of money. If I sold it, I'd probably spend the money on booze.

Then I'd have no money, no receiver, and a hangover.

The only guns I sold were 2 K31s immediately after I bought three. I would have only bought one, but I saw an opportunity to (if not make a profit) at least off set the expense of the one I wanted. Other than that, never sold one and can't fathom doing so.

I was buying and selling items till I found ones I really like. Now they will stay with me till I can give them to my son or daughter, well that is if california doesn't figure out a way I can't do that.

The items I will hold on to for the foreseeable future.

Savage 10fp (like very loud sex shooting this guy)
RRA NM Rifle (Feels great and shoots great)
Remington 870 Express Magnum (Everyone needs atleast one)
Para PXT LTC (Very good weapon and stands ready to defend my family)
18" LAR build (More accurate then I can ever hope to be)
Mega featureless build (So fun to shoot it will soon be a crime to)

I just need one or two more guns to complete my collection and be content.

I sold 3 guns, wished I did not and probably will never sell a gun again. but i can understand why someone would want to sell, why keep extra luggage around if you don't want it?

I won't ever sell a gun because most people who have said they've regretted it since.

I have two I regret selling. If I repurchase them I will not sell them again.

i'm starting to think it's not worth it. you lose money for one and at the end of the day, at least me, I know I would regret it years from now.

besides, i'd rather have a gun packed full of guns then keeping some limited amount.

I thought about selling one before (on this site, last year) but now I don't think I will ever sell. The more I read and understand the state laws, the more I want to hang on to everything, even the .410 shotgun I will probably never use.

As handguns fall off of the 'list', I think it will be interesting to watch prices and see what the new buying patterns are.

I also think it is ironic that in the 'safe gun' effort to curb the sales of guns in this state is actually probably making more people go out and buy more. I guess that won't last forever because when the list drops to 3 or 4, or none we won't be able to buy anymore at all!

So far I have not sold any of my gun collection yet. I do not plan to sell any of them, either.
