I have only sold guns to buy new ones. Either that or have traded for something else I am interested in.

Just didn't make sense keeping something when I had something that better suited the application.

I sold a total of two guns (pistols) awhile back and have regretted selling them ever since.

Sometimes but I keep them at around a 10-1 ratio it seems. If I don't like the gun I see no real reason to not sell it or give it away. I only regret selling about less than 20% of the guns I've sold. I reinvest the cash in another gun usually.

I've sold a few, traded a few, and given away a few.

I sell or trade guns if I just don't care for them and they have enough value to get me something I'd rather have. The only ones in this category so far were a Glock 17 and a Sig P239. I just didn't enjoy shooting them, had plenty of other choices in those categories, and they represented enough value that I could get something I would enjoy shooting (or at least something to try out).

I've got a few I'm thinking about moving out, partly to make room in the safe, but it's not something to be taken lightly...

I'm a keeper. But then again I don't have to have every gun on the market. I buy what I really like and keep it. Which is why I don't have too much

sell guns ??? why would anyone sell a perfectly functional gun

I am just one day in on the 10 days , one down 9 to go .
Oh and for the OLL people in NORCAL , City Arms now carries stripped lowers from STAG . That is bad for me because I am thinking of switching my direct deposit to them at the rate I am going .
How can one sell a gun one has grown attached to ( OMG I need a lsocial life ) .

I have had several guns that I sold when I either "tired" of them or needed $$. As I build my collection up again, I made the decision to never sell, under any circumstance, any of my guns.

5 out of my 8 guns are flat/blank AKs, which can't be sold anyway.

I dont normally sell but I just sold a Super Redhawk to fund another gun. The same $500.00 I sold it for went down for a HK P2000. Money well spent. I dont feel too bad because I traded a 20 year old stove for the Ruger. The deal of a century!!!

I started collecting with the intent to keep all my guns. Problem was, I bought guns that I don't think will fall off the list anytime soon like Glocks and XDs. After awhile I started liking the more expensive guns like Sigs and have started looking into 1911s.

Traded off my XD9SC for a Para P13 because I already have another XD and I prefer the G36 over the XD9SC. G36 will not go anywhere because it was a gift.

Even now I'm thinking about selling off the XD40 Bi-tone to fund a 1911.

Selling, or trading my guns is no longer a pleasant experience for me.
