If it were me, I would just bring the guns and make them legal if you take them out and about but why register them? Keep the large capacity clips hidden away. I have never been asked if my guns were registered, ever. If you ever go to sell them them make sure the buyer goes through the proper registration so as to protect you. Seems to me this registration thing is so they can take them away from you or your kids someday.

Calguns have a foundation to help with good people busted with legal weapons under legal circumstances. So if you do something illegal you might have to endure JagerTroop's suggested nuts punishment, but the only difference is Bubba in State Pen will be doing it for you !!! So please read up on Cali's stupid laws ... They may be stupid, but its still the law !!!

Are they just long guns or handguns also? Long guns you
do not have to, handguns you do. You will need a CA ID and address. If you have a C&R license, and you move, you need to change the address on your license with ATF.
If you are a new resident to California and bring any handguns into the state, you must use the second form I
listed. The First form is for C&R license holders that are residents that buy a C&R handgun out of state and bring it in. You can go to JGsales in AZ, buy C&R handguns, bring them back and use the first form. You cannot order from JGsales in AZ, receive them by carrier and use the form.
They will not ship because of federal law.
