I've turned 5 guys into gun nuts at work:-)

Just wanted to say that I've successfully turned 5 co-workers into "gun nuts"

Most of them never owned a firearm less than a year ago and now they are buying one every other month and then coming to me to show it off.

They all started off being anti then I brought in my issues of the American Rifleman (showed them "The Armed Citizen" section initially) and argued everything logically..now they are hooked! Love converting people into this sport..feels kind of satisfying.

Nice, I converted my aunt who was anti-gun.

Before she was extremely horrified by guns. When they used to come over to my house and we were shooting she didn't even want to stand within a few feet of an unloaded gun. Now when I go to her house she tells me I should take my rifle out of the case and stand outside for a few minutes that way people will be afraid to come in uninvited.lol. She lives in SJ, I told her that wasn't a good idea.

They are currently in the process of acquiring a handgun for home defense. My job was complete

Good job !!, up until this year, I never owned any firearms. I had interest but never acted on ownership. I switched jobs and all off a sudden had a lot of co-workers who were enthusiasts.

Needless to say I'm on this site all the time and own 5 firearms in 9 months !!

Only converted two friends...Though one friend in under a year set up an 2 rfiles and one handgun in quick order.

I have too many liberals in my office. Thank goodness they are good people though.

I've converted a guy here at the office. He went from having a passing interest in guns to buying his first, second, and now third all in the past 6 months. Most recent was a Mosin Nagant. I told him about them and how I was thinking of getting one and he picked one up at Big-5 on sale.

I'd say you "enlightened" them. Gave them the ability to protect themselves and their families. Way to go.

I took my BIL out shooting 1x (he was eager) and he ended up getting Glock shortly after. I still haven't repaired my target stand from that incident though
