My wife used to be terrified of gun. Now she has a Glock 19 in the night stand Objective achieved, moving on to the next target.

Thanks for the compliments all...I think the more people that come over the better our chances of repealing some of these stupid laws we have.

That is exactly what I have turned into at work. People have started coming to me with questions and on there pick up day they always want to bring me along to show off.

no one turned me into a gun nut.I never feared guns i never was anti-gun i just never had any interest in them intill i started watching gun reviews on youtube. I think i just happened to stumble upon one, one day and ever since then i just had to get more and more information about them and that led me to start buying them.

I shot lots and lots of guns in my childhood with my friends family. My mother is anti and my father did not enjoy guns although he was ex military and a farmer This led me to not own any guns, always had the interest. Always had bb guns, airsoft guns and paintball guns. My buddies dad taught me everything safety wise about guns and that stuck with me. I really wish it was a father son thing but that never came to be. Fast forward to a year ago I started shooting with friends from work, and then started buying. So far I have a few gun buddies at work.

They all started off being anti then I brought in my issues of the American Rifleman (showed them "The Armed Citizen" section initially) and argued everything logically..now they are hooked! Love converting people into this sport..feels kind of satisfying.
But wait, wont this drive up prices on ammo and guns??

I think it was FBI. If I remember correctly, they couldn't find the place, and asked a local citizen for directions - the citizen turned out to be Koresh's (or one of those guys) cousin. The cousin phoned ahead to say company was coming...

I have converted a few. Converting women is more challenging than men but it is worth it in the long run.

A good way to get people interested is by letting them shoot for free.

My boss was asking the group what we should do for a team building event.

Some people suggested golf, the driving range, laser tag/paint ball and other things that just don't interest me.

I suggested target shooting and I got some funny stares at first but I persisted.

I usually offer to bring my toys to let them try (the AK/AR seems always lure them in:-) and once they realize it's all on the up they have to have one.
