It feels very centered, I'm not sure I like the composition but the way you shot it was great. I like how you worked the depth of field.

...trying to keep the thread from a full on derailment....

Went to the bike store. Performance bikes had a house brand glove with gell at just the right spot and a double layer of leather in the web of the hand. To cap it off, they were $10 off and for twelve dollars, I'z done.

I'll report back after shooting with them but they seem to fit the bill very nicely.

Anyways, I don't ride anymore so what better use for an old pair of gloves. If you really want to be a jerk, find me at a range and laugh. I'll be the one with black Alpinestars that have the same cut and profile of the Oakley SI glove.
The damn Oakley SI glove came from their mountain biking line anyways so the Alpinestar is just the same to me.
Sensitive much? Lighten up there buddy. I ride too and I have some gnarly gaunlets. But I would find them ridiculous for casual shooting. If SHTF, any glove is better than nothing but why wear $200 kangaroo hide when you can wear some cheap Mechanix gloves. It's not like you're gonna trip while at the range and slide down asphalt at 150mph. Like you said, nomex type gloves may be cool for shooting so maybe go that route.
While we're here arguing about the latest high tech running shoes, there's some Kenyan out there running barefoot. Guess who's gonna win the marathon?

I picked up some Voodoo Tactical gloves from Major Surplus for about $20. Also bought some lke $8 cheapo ones from walmart. Two most comfortable pairs of gloves I have.

I'm about to invest in a good pair of baseball gloves. It is always hard for me to find good ones that fit just right for my tiny hands that also don't look too girly at the range.

If you are a year round shooter, and use outdoor facilities, gloves will come in very handy.
I keep two pair in my range bag.
