Id am hundred percent in for at least one, maybe two depending on the design. Plz count me in!

Hey guys, I spoke with a local vendor today and if a slogan/logo, model name can be chosen and a minimum of 80 lowers were pre-ordered (paid in full up front) I can get custom lowers for under $120 (including tax, but not including DROS or shipping if you are not local to Los Angeles for direct pick-up)

Turn around time would be about 3 weeks once money for at least 80 lowers is collected.

We'd be able to design any logo, custom model name, caliber and custom selector markings so long as all 100 are made the same (except serial).

I'd be down for at least 1 if we get the Bear, and maybe two if it includes the flag. You should start a new thread once we get a design approved. I agree about 160 with flakey people.

Yeah. I like the bear too, but we'd have to get permission to do another run from the admin and it'd raise the cost $20 or so since per the previous calguns lowers, we've donated $20/receiver of that back to calguns

My FFL, PD Guns (formerly IAC) is the one who suggested the deal for under $120 and it's gonna be made from a CA company, JD machine who did the most recent calgun's lowers.

The California Bear is not owned by either the admin nor Kaiser/JD... I don't think that would be a problem... particularly a laser-etched logo that has neither the "look" nor "feel" of the Kaiser CGN lower.

Through JD, whatever logo that is chosen would be engraved. whether it would be a copy of whatever is out there or a completely new lower with no association to calguns, I think the price I was given is good. It would just be a matter of getting the right number of people that want it and having them not flake as you stated.

Same issues as with the bear....
And FWIW... the Kaiser Bear lower was far more popular than the state outline. Bears have been, for the most part, sold out since December. There's still a few state lowers floating around at quite a few FFLs...
