"Why ZEDU? Because preparing for survival should be FUN!
There are many purposes for this new forum.

By now, some are wondering "Is this some kind of a joke?"

No. No joke at all.


It's just easier to get people involved with preparing themselves for the worst if it's done in a fun, lighthearted and social atmosphere.

We can accomplish this all with a strong sense of friendship and comradery. That's what we do best at the USN.



But what if?

What if some day the proverbial **** absolutely hits the fan?

Where will you be? What will you have with you?

Well, as an important part of our community, you can pretty much bet that you'll be within minutes or at most a few hours away from another USNer who would be willing to feed you, give you a place to crash, and help you in any way necessary.


So that's why we now have ZEDU.

We'll clown around here. We can relax and escape from the daily stress here.

We'll come up with some cool and fun projects. We'll have excellent discussions here and even learn quite a bit from one another.


It's totally true; If you're prepared for Zombies you're prepared for anything.

And anything that encourages people to become better prepared is always a good thing.

If it takes the extreme symbolism of Zombies in order to wake you up and make you think, then so be it.

Sure, we already have an "Personal Preparedness" forum, and there's lots of good information there, but it's just not as interactive and social as I had hoped it would be.

Skills, knowledge, gear and provisions are all necessary for survival.

But our "Personal Preparedness" forum lacks an essential ingredient, and that ingredient is an actual network of people who have declared their willingness and desire to help one another during an extreme situation.

ZEDU just might change that. It could easily become a Brotherhood for extreme preparedness junkies, and we can accomplish it in a very enjoyable and entertaining way.

The "U" in "ZEDU" stands for "Unit" which means a group of people who are United.

There's strength in numbers. Brotherhood is a very powerful and effective thing. Have fun, make friends here, and realize that you are never alone when you belong.


Remember,.....There's nothing wrong with killing Zombies. They're already dead.

And if they ever happen,.....we'll be ready!

And there you have it. Thanks to all who voted, work will continue on the some design options for you folks to consider. Two companies have expressed an interest in our project are Sun Devil and Mega. ball park prices will be available as soon as some of the details are ironed out. Based on the Voting I am looking into an initial run of 30 lowers, but its all going to depend on you folks. suggestions, drawings, opt for uppers etc, its really your show.
