I think that's better for everybody. After informing him that he had his weapon in an illegal configuration, you should have minded your own business.

So what, it's his gun, his problem. If he's not a safety concern or issue, what biz is it of yours? And to tell the RO, please, that's just immature schoolyard behavior.

The range I go to could care less what you're shooting either, as long as it's not full auto and you're not a safety hazard, we all keep shootin' and having a great time. Legal configuration is the gun owner's problem.

      Have a great Kenpo day

Hell, if the DOJ BOF can't get these goofy laws straight, then who am I to tell someone with a wall full of licenses, permits, erroneous, undated DOJ memos and letters, and more mandated warnings and notices that I care to count what is and what isn't legal. As for bad technical info or scamming customers, I believe in the old "let the buyer beware" philosophy. I also note those sort of behaviours for future reference on where and where not to spend my $$.

If a guy is trying to make a sale and I think a bad move for the customer, I tell the customer to check out another gun on display. I don't want to take away business from the guy.

If someone has a gun that I think might be illegal I don't say anything because they could be LEO or have it as a reged AW - I don't wanna step in - I am not a LEO so it is not my duty to police them.

If someone says something wrong about laws or something such as that, I always correct them, for two reasons; if I say something incorrect I would hope someone would correct me so I don't look stupid when I say things. Secondly it is no good especially in CA if your giving out bad gun information.

The range that I work at doesn't even care if you go full auto as long as you have the right paperwork. Usually it's a LEO with an issued weapon but, we have had privately owned and properly registered NFA guns on the fireing line.

As for this, do you turn your friends in when they speed on the freeway or do you just stop being their friend when CHP laughs because they are breaking the law. A hypothetical question.
(note to self, don't go into combat with you, you may tell the C.O. we are breaking rules)

Remember, there were 'good Germans' too.

As for the post originally, I keep to myself, like caligula though, if its safety oriented, like some guy selling the wrong ammo for a gun or something blatently idiotic, I might pipe in a bit.
