That belongs on the 1000 ways to die program.......This is really bad.Never do anything like this.......It frequently drives the bullet a few inches down the bore and if it is not cleared properly the next round will destroy the gun and a good chance your face. This is a stunt a 10 year would would try........Bad Bad Bad

That was a retarded joke. What if he didn't notice the first squib and fired a round you didn't mess with? Best case scenario you ruin his gun, losing a finger(s) or an eye(s) is not out of the realm of possiblity. Don't play jokes with guns. You wouldn't cut the brakes on his car as a joke, would you?

pm me and if you're local meet up I gotta sort it out
when I get home I'll do a count of how much ammo there is
I'm up in Manhattan beach just south of LAX. I'll probably go to the range in the next couple of weeks usually go to a place to shoot in Saugus. I won't be going down that way for a few weeks. I have a pistol at T&A that I am waiting for my 30 day to dros then I can head down there. Let me know if you'll be coming up this way

Please step away from the ammo! I don't find it funny that some people find it funny to play "jokes" with stuff like this. Like the people above said it could have been a squib then a kaboom. Not funny at all .

The stuff barely cycled. It was about 15% light on the powder.

You got some of Jspicoli's kr*p too? Mine was resold to me by another CG'er. I pulled all mine and reused the components. Some cases were actually empty. Others had case trimmings as big as a fingernail cutting in them. Did a writeup in the ammo forum last year. The only good part of that deal was disposing of the powder.

Sorry to hear about that.... perhaps he didn't realize it was bad. (Although the entire lot not firing is not a good sign)

Nevertheless, I would try and contact the seller and explain the situation, hopefully he will be cool and work something out with you.

At least there is a way to distinguish good from bad in your ammo can (with the rings around primer), sorting the ammo may be.... relaxing?? just trying to look at the bright side. In any case, good luck.

I'm in Santa Clarita and work in Glendale. Some European military ball takes a very heavy firing pin strike to set it off. I've seen FN ball that just won't light off when shot from a sporting arm and even from some military arms like an M1.
