    Man i got screwed.

    Forgot to post this

I bought this ammo from a calgunner a while back and NONE of the ammo worked. Went to the range and nada. All the ammo had the primer indented from the firing pin and not a one fired. i shot some other ammo cause I thought it was the gun at first.
This was older ammo. I didnt take any pics of the ammo either.
Sucks cause its no mixed with my regular ammo in a big ammo can. So when i get back from vacation I get to hand choose my ammo from the ammo he sold me. The nice thing is the primers on his ammo have a red ring mine have a green ring.

That's messed up. Let us know who he is, hate people who pass on stuff they know doesn't work, ammo, guns or accessories without full disclosure.

Wh said the seller knew anything about the ammo, good or bad?

If this was surplus ammo, how could the seller know if it was good or bad ammo? With surplus stuff, sometime you just take your chances.

Well out of the four or so people you bought ammo from (according to your feedback) I know one personally and would call him a friend. He's a straight up guy and would never intentionally take advantage of anyone. PM sent

Thats the truth, would you rather have that ammo not go off or blow up.

Give any and all bad ammo to your rangemasters who will have a good time trying to shoot it out of their rental guns haha.

Never met surplus ammunition with a 100% fail rate. 1 fail in 8, 1 fail in 5, double strike needed to get the ammo to go boom, seen that. Either Rob is especially unlucky or some sort of shenanigans went down.

I'll admit, I'm making assumptions, but so is everyone else, especially without seeing the original ad and more details from the OP (like making sure he stored it correctly, make of ammunition, caliber, etc etc). But, with a 100% fail rate, if the seller advertised it as ammunition, he should take it all back with full refund.

Totally agree. Even that garbage POF .303 will go bang 75% of the time. I think the OP's gun doesn't like hard primers.

Exactly what kind of ammo is it? What's the headstamp? And what are you trying to shoot it out of?

Take one apart and see if it has some other reason it is bad. Maybe handloads with the wrong/bad primers?

Even "new" ammo can be bad. Don't you remember all the Remington .223 that was released without flash holes? I've personally had ruptured cases with Eley and Winchester (not WWB).
