Did you get his phone number for a date?

I'm printing all over in TX, I don't care...as long as I have my CCW.
Isn't that a requirement to conceal carry in TX? Something about law enforcement being able to tell if you're packing or not.

They can complain all they want, its still not brandishing. If it were then everyone who has been stopped by the police while UOC would get arrested for brandishing.

If a regular repeatedly sexually harasses waitresses and I do nothing about it believe me I can get sued. The hostile work enviorment laws pertain to the protection of your employees from other employees, vendors and customers.

Hey high_lander, I think you did the right, and courteous, thing. I know that if I was accidentally printing, I'd definitely rather have a fellow gunner point it out to me politely and discretely than some hoplophobe calling in a MWAG call on me just having an evening out.

Good job on noticing the gun as well, us californians don't usually get much practice in that area very often

Printing, in some situations, can generate a "man with a gun" call to the local LEA. See if you can guess what happens next.

Some states, as I understand it, have issues with a CCWed weapon being exposed in any way or manner unless it is actually being deployed for self defense.

And FWIW... I still look at people around me all the time checking for tells and prints. Some old LEO habits are harder to break than others.

                  Hostile Work Environment Harassment
Anybody can create a hostile work environment; for example, management, co-workers, customers, or vendors and contractors can all contribute. Employees have protection against working in a hostile work environment, and the management and leadership team need to immediately address the source of the harassment, or else they, along with the company, will be liable in a court of law according to the EEOC. Examples of hostile work environment harassment include unwelcome comments or actions about any legally protected characteristics. But this is off-topic.

Correct in California.... in other states, it just might be. Know the local rules when you exercise your non-resident UT or FL permit.

I dunno. I see someone "printing" I think I'm going to leave him alone, steer clear, and mind my own damn business. You never know what thug, mobster, whatever might be carrying - and he may not want you to call him on it.

Give it a wide berth, man!

Maybe it's a cultural thing too. The last thing any good Sicilian will do is correct a guy on his hidden pistol!

Of course if you see a guy printing and you do nothing about it and five minutes later you are staring down the barrel of the printed gun because the printer and his buddies are doing a takeover robbery of the restaurant your at you are going to feel pretty stupid.

Agreed. It's not illegal to print. Most non-gun people would not have an ideal what's under your shirt; pages, cell phones, smart phones...plenty of stuff is carried on peoples' belts.

Those gun people who would know shouldn't care.

Bad guns don't carry mags in holsters and seldom, if ever, use a holster for a gun.

Besides, what are you gonna do when you see someone printing? Call the cops? Are you sure you're on our side?

So you are saying that everyone that carries a gun is on our side ? That is not a realistic statement. A bunch of cops our not on our side and they carry not to mention the numerous criminals that carry. When you make an us against them statement you should figure out who we are and who they are and maybe who you are.

+1. The only "side I am on" is my own. If I am in a restaurant and someone is "printing". It depends on the circumstances on how I will respond. I may make a call to LEO's if I have concerns about the guy, I may do nothing, or I may leave just to be on the safe side. I don't give a rip what anyone thinks about that since I do not trust all people, especially whan they are armed. I am not saying that someone who carries is an immediate BG, but I am also concerned about how well trained, and how disciplined the individual is about using that weapon. My blood family comes before the the 2A family and I will follow my instincts and act accordingly. This is the same problem I have with OC. Just because you were not disqualifed to purchase a weapon, does it make you qualified to carry one and possibly make a life or death decision on when or where to use it.
