Make sure your Caps-lock is not on. Some passwords are Case sensitive.

Cannon safe has the best warranty in the world as far as I am concern. I had a house fire last year and smoke got into my safe. I called Cannon and they asked for a copy of the fire report. Bottom line three weeks latter I received a new safe at no cost to me. The safe I received was two inches larger and had a better finish then my original safe. Give them a chance they stand behind their product.

Have to say, for as many positive comments as I'm hearing about Cannon's warranty, it seems that a lot of you have had problems with your Cannon safes..

it took 2.5 months just to deliver from san bernie... 4 hours away. it's been almost 10 business days, and after the hassles of even getting through to someone at cannon, then them shipping a lock 6 business days ago to some mystery locksmith that i can't call. the phone book lists this "lock smith" in a city 130 miles from me, and when i set my computer to call the number for them every 30 minutes for 48 hours, all i get is "all circuits busy, try again later." i'm thinking like this: i've had a $700 safe that arrived broken, and the manufacturer obviously can't or doesn't care to fix a lock, how will they be if i have a burglar attack or fire? if i give them six months, i might get it fixed, however i NEED a working safe last month, or i buy some other one that DOES work. it's a real shame, i have heard nothing but praise for their customer service and warranty.

It's CostCo. They take back anything they sell. Return it, then buy another one.
