    Eagle Scout Henry Rifle

Aside from myself, I know there are a few other Eagle Scouts on the board. Thought this might be of interest.

That's pretty cool. I wouldn't mind having one.

Only made it to Life myself, and Brotherhood in the OA, but have been a Scoutmaster for 3 troops.

I do not follow National Council policy too much. I agree with Lord Baden-Powell that Scouting should build a boys character by way of military style training and achievements. I'm not very PC

But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself...A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague."......Cicero

Eagle Scout, but I've never been much for tribute or showcase arms. Put that $1k towards something a bit more functional. Ammo or an "evil rifle"

And if it floats your boat, contribute directly to BSA.....

I am proud of my eagle scout but 1K is a little much. I am glad they offer something for the boy scouts in a firearm. One of the things I enjoyed was shooting single shot 22LR's at Lost valley.

Eagle Scout here too. Can't afford to spend 1k on a showcase rifle though. I would rather buy an M1 Garand and have something pass down to my kids.
