I think it's pretty cool. Adds a bit of flair and definitely a talking point.

What'd also be cool is if it also used passages from other famous literary and religious works like the Qu'ran or the Torah.

The company is probably in violation of their contract. I am glad they are fixing it. Shouldn't have been done in the first place.

To all the supporters, would it have been ok if it had referenced islamic passages or buddist (for example).

                Political correctness at work again.

For this action to be a violation of the Constitution, the action has to be by the government not a private company. As I understand, the company put a cryptic biblical verse on their product and no one knew about it including the government.

Consider this matter from a different perspective. If our troops were being attacked by terrorists who were using AK-47s that had Koranic verses as serial numbers, would we really be offended by the verse or by the act of being attacked? This is sillyness and our upper level government officials entertain such feigned outrage by our enemies.

God help our troops because they are being lead by incompetent men.

that is personally stated by the individual not supplied to them by the government, for you statement to even be relevant the government would need to supply ALL ID tags with one religion not of the users choice.

with a side of corporate identity.

Its not like the military (as far as we know) was like : BROS WE NEED SOME CHRISTIAN **** UP IN THIS MOTHER BROS!

Its a company. Their products were good and were contracted. This is capitalism. IMHO - to change their manufacturing process, they should add a surcharge as this modification is likely outside of the original agreement.

and for those that are interested : im an agnostic, but i have nothing wrong with a company making great products that keep our soldiers alive and adding a bit of their own "company flare"

if the product works ? **** it !!! paint it pink w/ sparkles as long as it performs.

Maybe you can make your point yourself instead of directing me to read the 242 page manual that you attached to your post.

DAMN. I, for one, am VERY unhappy about Trijicons decision and respect them less as a company for providing "removal kits."
Will trade liquor/wine/beer for parts and accesories and ammo! PM me. Dont drink n shoot. Offer void where prohibited. Must be 21 or older, etc. etc.

I wonder what the modification kit contains?

They'll probably charge the government 200 bucks a piece.
