The bay area is NOT Norcal, Mendocino county up is Norcal. I live on a 1,800 acre ranch in Laytonville (Mendocino county) and besides every deer seasons when the migration of the dirtballs come for the earth dance everyone is friendly and pro-2A.

          More Liberals up North

Everyone knows that there are more conservatives in So. Cal. than Nor. Cal. especially in San Diego, Orange and Riverside Counties. There you have it. More conservatives = less gun lovers!

This!! Seriously though I noticed the same thing theres much more members up in Norcal than Socal. But then again I'm considering members from the Bay and Sactown to be from the North also.It doesnt matter to me though because we all represent the same thing

That's funny you should ask that, because every time I ask if any other women on here want to go shooting, 99% are in So Cal! *sigh* Only guys live near me...

Ok, stay with me here, I am quite literal in my approach to things. We moved here in 2004 and I still haven't been able to get a solid answer on this whole SoCal/NorCal thing. When I look at a map of CA, the geographic center seems to be roughly along a line drawn from Salinas, through Fresno, and ending at the state line. This looks like an equal distance from this line to Oregon in the North, and Mexicon in the South.

I think the nor cal so cal split is not so much geographical but more the drive down I-5 or 99. Bakersfield/Fresno south is so cal and everything else is nor cal is how I always thoughts of it.

So my line drawn east/west through Fresno isn't so far off after all?

"More conservatives = less gun lovers!" are you serious isn't it the other way around? more conservatives=more gun lovers, More hippies=less gun lovers.
There you go, math homework corrected

From what I've noticed the people that frequently post tend to be in the Bay Area/Norcal but all the super good deals in the Private Firearm Sales forum tend to be in Socal.
