Thanks for all the info fellas!

I've recently asked a couple of similar questions. Basically sounds like many of the "well-informed-legally" folks 'round these parts are fully in support of proper LUCC.
CalGuns Network (CGN) is different from CalGuns Foundation (CGF). Both need our support. I have gold name because I support CGN; plus, I send $10 every two weeks to CGF automatically via online BillPay as described here.

Yep, soft case. I like the netbook case idea, however.

I actually bought the pistol specifically for this purpose, as my Glock 26 is too big for LUCC pocket carry.
Best method so far. If I would LUCC I would do so in this fashion. Maybe with a Kahr 380

If I had a LCP or something small I would LUCC on the ankle or pocket, a little zippered pouch would be easy to conceal there.

I've been thinking of ways to make a quick unlocking, flip open kydex holster too. If it was locked closed it wouldn't be any different then any other locked hard case, and would be much faster to access.

NAA Guardian comes with a pocket case and even a lock for it. Replace the NAA lock with a combo lock for faster access (and you don't have to fumble with the key, much less worry about it), and there you have it:

I have a few of these pouches I picked up for $5 each awhile back. Works great and just barely holds a full size 1911 plus some mags, and easily fits my Glock. Throw on a small combo lock and you're set. About the size of a micro netbook (10 inches long)

I carried my HK USP compact in http://www.dillonprecision.com/conte...9__Day_Planner today in a couple of places and it felt pretty comfortable. I noticed a few looks that seemed to wonder what was so important in my planner that I had to lock it up- but no one suspect gun, I'm sure.

With the Bulldog fanny pack, you can carry plenty of spare mags in the other pockets. It doesn't show in the pic, but there is a mag behind the gun.
