In CSI: Miami, the episode where Horatio gets "shot" at the airport, when the rifle goes off, its a loud crack, like every other rifle in Hollywood, but when you see the shooter, its just a 10/22 with a Hogue stock

Also, in Shooter, towards the middle/end, when Mark Wahlberg is running through the field with all the pipe and smoke bombs, when you see his slow-motioned silhouette reloading, he drops the mag, slams another in THEN pulls back the charging handle and you see a round eject! So either he had a FTE or he threw away a perfectly good round

That's called a "tactical reload", and he pulled the charging handle in case he had fired the last round from the previous mag.

Hey... with 30rd mags, you can afford to toss one.

BUT on top of that, after he inserts the new mag, he hits the bolt release very visibly on the side of his gun, so thats what i found so funny about it

Bad Boys, after the car crash near the end Will Smith's character walks up to the bad guy with gun drawn. Camera angle is straight into the barrel and you can see daylight coming through an empty chamber. Moments later he fires. I can see the empty chamber for safety reasons, but at least edit it afterwards. And the errors have moved on to music as well, Miranda Lambert's Gunpowder and Lead has a shotgun go off at the end of the song and the sound of a brass case hitting the ground.

In Dark Knight, when Joker is in the car before the bank heist, he racks the G18 slide and it locks back because it's empty. He then uses the slide stop the release the slide. It magically fires when he enters the bank.

Black Hawk Down, due to a bad editing job, you can see the guy who is getting rescued by two other dudes while he shooting with an MP5, you first see him with an M733 on his lap from the dead dude but then you see the other guy come in and give it to him and tell him his buddy died.

It looks like if that rifle is the Smith & Wesson M&P15R (Model 811011)?

Could be just about any AR with a flat top upper receiver and standard handguards.

Pulp Fiction The first scene in the Apt. Travolta & Jackson kill the guys. Jackson's 1911 goes to slidelock. End of scene.

Near the end, the movie segways back to the end of the first scene. Then they discover another guy hiding out & they blast him. Jackson's gun was back in battery.

Well, it was fiction, after all!
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

I didn't see it mentioned so far, but Woody from toy story has an empty holster in all three movies.

That's not a fail, that's incredible attention to detail.

No, not really. Buzz had a gun, remember? As did all the army men.

In Toy Story 2, Al is all excited because Woody has his hat, and is thus a complete toy for him to sell to the Japanese collector. If he was originally supposed to have a gun, then without it, he would have been incomplete and worthless for Al to try to sell.
