Interactive BLM Maps

Now go to the Palm Springs BLM office's site and try to get ANY information.
There are areas within that office's area that certainly are open to OHV operation, yet the office has a blanket statement that there are no legal OHV areas within Riverside County... then they go on to indicate that they make this statement because access involves either traversing private land or using public roads that do not allow OHV.

The Palm Springs office's site has no information that I could find regarding target shooting.

Which exactly why I say to call first. But then I'm just being a jackass or something for trying to help.

I have... a number of times.
The http://www.geocommunicator.gov/blmMap/Map.jsp?MAP=LAND link only shows BLM control. It doesn't show any restrictions in any areas.

The other link that was put up with the original post is just a link to the general policies of the BLM with respect to target shooting and hunting.
Following that link to the field office that covers the area that I am interested in yields NO maps or other information other than the maps available for sale from the BLM.... and not having seen those maps, I don't know if they will tell me what I need to know or not (and they can't be purchased online).

Keep on believing that b/c every time I talk with BLM they tell me to call before I go anywhere new and to check back to see if anything has changed, but I guess they dont know only mr know it all does.

Where exactly is my secret spot? as you can see my location is nowhere near BLM land.
