              IMHO if you don't practice with your buck a round ammo, you are unprepared and are wasting your money. 9, 40, 44, 45, ball ammo or swc will ruin your day. Also, if you have to use it it will lead to far fewer "why" questions. Practice and shot placement are far more important than bullet design. Ammo companies and retailers are raping us as it is, why bend over and present them a more appealing target.

                Either Winchester Super X or AA 12 ga. shells for shotgun.

                WWB for my USP because that is what I primarily practice with and it's been %100 reliable for me.

                I recently came up on alot of Golden Sabre 124gr JHP +P. I'll go through at least a few boxes to determine if that's what I'll switch to. I want to make sure I'm comfortable with it and runs flawless (which I'm sure it will) before making it my home defense round.

                  Yup, almost to the T. I carry .45 Ranger SXT, or Federal HST, 9mm HST 124gr, .223 TAP, .44mag, federal JSP 240gr for WAAAAYYY Back up.

                            For my Sig P226 .40 I have 180gr Federal HST's

                            For the Glock 19 I have Federal Hydrashoks, Winchester Silvertips and some Black Talons Its loaded with the Hydrashoks though

                            870 Has 6 rounds of 00 Buck
