    What's Your Self-Defense Ammunition ?

I just came back from a friends house and we were talking guns. He pulls out his Ruger Super RedHawk .44 and goes on to say that he keeps it loaded with 240grain as a HD weapon.

Now, we all know how well .44 works as a man stopper, in fact ive had first hand experience that proves it also works great at stopping bears, but were not out on a hunt, were in the middle of a densly populated resedential area (in an apartment complex no less). So, I went to my truck to grab some MAGSAFE ammo to show to him, that he should change his HD loads.

Because if some unfortunate event were to take place and the weapon was needed, there will be a very high probablity to danger of other residents living within his immediate vicinity.

I keep MAGSAFE in all my HD weapons (until I happened to find something better) and I advise that any other calgunners who happend to use full load FMJ as hd ammo to take a look at the balistics of pre frag ammo if your living in a populated area:

**Disclaimer: I do not work for magsafe, but ive tested their ammo, and throroughly support it.**

Take care and have a great day,
    SR

Your friend might as well only put one round in the .44 mag. Because he will only get one AIMED round off! I would be really worried about setting off a .44 mag inside the house!
