Heads up boys and girls: mark your calendars! Friday March 19th and
Sat. March 20th Field Time will be hosting what is being called "THE ELITE TRUCK EVENT"!!! A huge semi-tractor trailer will roll in and park in the parking lot. The trailer will open up and customers can make purchases right off the truck at great savings! They will also be BBQing for the attendees! It should be a great time even if you don't buy anything. Hours on Friday is 10-7 and Sat. is 10-6. You can go to their web page at fieldtimesportsandguns.com and click on the "coming events" tab on the left side.

This one right? Do they have special deals specific to "Field Times"? Previous deals from past events weren't too good though IIRC. They're headed to The Shootist and Ammo Bros too.

field time did make special purchases to promote the event. A truck like that will be making the rounds in many areas. It's all good!

Awesome store, one of the biggest gun store in Orange County. My experience with the workers were all positive and very knowledgeable. However, as for price wise, it is fair, not great. However, they do have lots of goodies in their store to check-it-out. Especially knives, they have awesome selection on knives. Mostly expensive and good quality knives. I could not find any knife that cost around $40, mostly over $70 to $300.

The Elite Truck Event

I came in for some ammo, saw this huge event. Everything inside the truck is 10% off. Discount is taken off inside the store. Bulk .223, mil spec, is $370 for 1000 (before discount). Ammo is 10% off also. I had a chance to meet Bill Hunt who is running for OC Sheriff; he believes in CCW, Fiscal Responsibility, Jail Reform. I felt like I 'm at a mini SHOT Show. The staffs are friendly and informative, btw free foods. The event will continue tomorrow.

I was there this wekeend since my buddy Steve works at Field Time....

We had a lot of fun. The store staff was SO friendly. Les came and gave me and buddy burgers on Friday evening too.

The Benchmade guys were awesome -- we bought several knives from them and they had a custom laser engraver, and they engraved whatever we wanted on our new Benchmade knives.

Mike, the door greeter, was so friendly and courteous. He was so positive and energetic...and it was a pleasure to talk to him.

The girls at the counter ringing everyone out were really adorable and sweet....yes, girls at a gun store!

I ended up going back on Saturday to pick up another Benchmade knife. Got it engraved of course.

You guys should check it out!

I had my first visit there recently. What a nice shop and nice folks working there. I didn't like getting the muzzle sweep from the little db looking at shotguns. I swear the gun was bigger than the guy. The salesman saw me death stare the db as I moved away and he kind of shrugged. Other than that I like the place. It is better than a Turner's.

Fieldtime is good people...I've been there about three times now...Wayyyy better than turners..family owned...I did the reloading presentation and it turns out it was the owner who did it...nice guy...I WILL be back.
