I will be looking for out for this store! How are their prices?
Driving up beach to work the other day, I peered through my half asleep eyes a dirt lot with a big marquee sign that said "firearms (or guns or the like) and hunting". Looks like construction is underway on a new shop, Beach and Westminster I believe. Again, I was half asleep.
Anyone know what this is???
Hoping this isn't a dupe

Coast Guard discussion
Trying to clear the air on this Coast Guard business: I looked into this issue and found that the person in question presented himself as a Merchant Marine. While this is difficult and honorable work, it really is not anything close to what the Coast Guard does. Field Time is very aware of the services performed by our Military branches, as well as law enforcement and fire departments, and they are respected enormously. This is why Field Time has chosen to offer a modest discount to the police, fire, and military personnel who live in our community. The discount is intended for the actual service member only.
I hope this helps.Comment

I stopped by yesterday. I thought the selection of guns was pretty good, but I'm not in the market for AR's and AK's, so I don't know what the selection of those is like. Really friendly counter people - Les was cracking me up. I'd say the pricing is fair - no incredible deals that I saw, but reasonable. I'll definitely be back.Comment

I am a little curious too. I was in the Coast Guard up until about a year ago and am now a Merchant Marine. When I meet the owner for the first time many years ago he was nothing but thankful to me for my service to our country (little as it may be compared to our guys and gals overseas fighting in the sand) and has been so ever since. I think it is a slap in the face to every active duty military member if someone is going around asking for a discount flashing their Z-card (Merchant Mariner Document for all you landlubbers) pretending to be in the Coast Guard. Those who trade liberty for security have neither. ~John AdamsComment

Great! I am always happy to talk to a fellow Coastie. So have you ever sailed on a great white needle of death? That was my last duty station and I loved it. So what about you? Were do you serve now? Maybe I know some of the guys there. You know how it is with the guard being so small, we all know each other! Those who trade liberty for security have neither. ~John AdamsComment

Lets get back to the topic of the thread sine there has been no reply. Yes there is a new gun store in Westminster and man is it nice! Great selection of stuff already with more showing up all the time. The staff is more than eager to help you find what you are after. Plus they offer a discount to all Police, Fire and Active Duty Military! That is of course you have the proper identification and are not trying to pull some scam. So get in there and check it out. After all you have to respect a guy who opens a gun store not only in todays economy but also in the peoples republic of california.
