New Gun store in Westminster?

They had primers for rifle, but talking to the guy at the counter, they only had about 5K each of small and large pistol which sold out in the first hour or so. Did have decent prices on bulk bullets (9mm 124gn copper coated was $36/500).

I went and checked it out today. I was impressed.

The staff was polite and friendly and they had a good selection of products.

I could tell they are expecting more inventory in the near future. The knife display was probably 3/4 complete/full.

I walked away with a .270 and up rifle cleaning rod, .270 bore brush, and a pair of boot laces.

I was hoping to check out a S&W 460 revolver but they did not have any in stock, but neither did the Stockade down the street.

Found the store yesterday, and stopped by to take a look. This was the biggest gunstore I've been to in a while. How does this compare to Abe's Gun Shop in Orange?

They had a P-01 that I'm going to save up and buy for.

Ade's is a really small shop, but they usually have a decent selection for their size.

Went there on Saturday to buy a Kimber Raptor. I asked if they gave military discounts? The kid said yes, the one with the missing finger. He asked me what branch of service? Told him active Coast Guard. His boss came over and said that’s not military. Refused to give me my 10% off. I laughed and walked out. I then drove to Tuners in Signal Hill and bought a Kimber Raptor there. They gave me my military discount and paid the same price. The guy was happy to help me. I was insulted by the owner of the new gun shop in Westminster. :mad

It's called Field Time Sports 714-891-3131. They have a great selection of guns, accessories and hunting apparel. I just bought an xd40 last
friday. The Stockade is just around the corner on Westminster and Fowlers is in Orange.

While I don't think anyone is entitled to a discount, but someone needs to educate these people on what the USCG does, especially in a war time setting.

Sucks what happened and I think they should have honored your service.. however, I think the store itself has an awesome selection and they gave me awesome customer service every time I've gone in. Not sure who the boss is, but aside from him, I can only think of one employee I'm not a huge fan of. Everyone else was as friendly as can be.
