Field Time Sports and Guns will have their grand opening this weekend, the 14th and 15th. They are going to have raffles, door prizes and a barbeque.

They will stock rifles, handguns, accessories, reloading equipment, ammo, scopes, targets, knives, hunting stuff, GPS's, camping gear, boots and shoes, tommy bahama clothes and watches, BBQ sauces and marinades, safes and more. (I have a flyer in front of me )

They will be open this Saturday from 10-6 and Sunday from 10-5.

      To-Morrow!

Maybe they will have the Glock I've been looking for at a sane price.

Either way, great to have a new option opening!

I was driving by and saw a lot of cars there so I stopped by but the friendly lady said the grand opening is tomorrow and they're gonna have raffles. Saw one of the sales clerks from Stockade and he looked like he was working there. From my quick glance from the door, it's very spacious if a little stark in inventory. It's not the usual "stacked from floor to ceiling" type of place as of yet.
I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Wait, so are they still open today? But their grand opening is tomorrow? I was planning to stop by today after my daughter wakes up from her nap.

Gotcha. I re-read Dangerous1's post, and he posted at 12:57 AM this morning. When he said that the grand opening was tomorrow, I guess he meant later today, not Sunday.

At any rate, I'll be there later today. Keep us posted on what's going on over there.

I was there about 10:30. Store is nice ,but about half full. I heard several employees say that they were waiting for more shipments and/or they were still unloading.

Good selection of reloading stuff. Gun prices seem on par with the Stockade. Lots of register problems and long lines today but I am sure that will smooth out as they get some runtime.

Edit: Forgot to mention that they had a few BB Ar's on the rack as well.

I just went by there. Gun prices seem to be on par with everyone else on pistols. Couple of bucks more or less but o par. The rifles seem a little high so if youre int he market for as M1A get one from some of the guys here who are selling one. Rugers anywhere from 470-540. Saw a few Mini 14s for 750 and a M1A scout for 2100. they had safes and a little camping gear.
Not sure what prices were on those. Saw some watches for 400-650$ ( not sure if they will sell many of those)
The store was nicely done. big open space saw some camping tools and some tomahawks and camp shovels. I may pick up a tomahawk w3hen the store is less busy. Overall looks liek a decent store. They had a rack fo shotguns out for display where you could grab them without a salesman giving it to you. BTW the parking lot was freakin FULL. And they say that there are no gun people in california.
I hope the store survives in this economy. GTood luck to them. Im gonna do a PPT there whenI sell mySKS just to see how it goes and report back

                        I saw a bunch of AR's too.

No bullet buttons though. They were the Umarex M4 .22lr's.

                        Oh, and a Bushmaster Carbon-15.

The store is definitely more hunting/camping/casual shooting oriented, which is fine. It's freaking HUGE, which is nice. Especially once it's actually full. Prices were about normal for most places out there. Nothing to complain about there.

Nothing really "tactical", but whatever. It's a Stockade/Turners/Fowlers type of place. I have no issues with more of those type of places around.

Not enough 1911's though And it looks like the don't carry Kimber at all

They have some SERIOUS Glock love though. Every single model in every conceivable configuration and color. If I liked Glocks, I'd shop there. When they get more and more reloading stuff in (I didn't see ANY powder) I'll probably shop there pretty regularly.

Went by this morning. Nice store, light inventory, as others said they are still stocking. Prices were... Typical. No good deals I saw, other than the PMC bronze .223 was at Turners sale price. Cashiers were a bit under or un trained, at least the one I dealt with. But I'm sure that too will work itself out. Staff seemed nice enough, and the reloading section seems good... for when I finally start reloading.

Gun prices were, uh, very Stockade-ish.

Regardless, the more the merrier, so good luck to them.

Did anyone happen to notice if they had any primers for sale?
