I Concord location has a pretty good selection of firearms. The ammo is well-stocked also.

Couple of the North Bay Big 5's still sell long guns and ammo.

I would buy a 50-round box of .40SW there for $35 (ouch), because it's better than waiting around for like nearly two hours at Sportsman's Warehouse for ammo to save, what $6 dollars? Ugh...

San Diego does. They used to have primers but not now.

My local Big 5 has no more guns on display or in stock, been that way for a while now.

Is it my imagination or did Big 5 used to sell handguns in the 1980s? I could have confused their pistol BB guns for real center fire pistols.

You’re in Sunnyvale, that’s why. Isn’t this one of the two cities that ban 10+ mags? Even if allowed in CA for the time being (freedom week)…

No guns at CA Big 5s any more

No guns at CA Big 5s any more

I called the main office of BIG 5
They will not be selling firearms in California any more.
They have pulled all their guns out of the California stores.
This is a corporate decision they made not to sell guns anymore.

I suggest your Boycott and DO NOT SHOP at BIG 5, or any other store
that does not support the US Constitution and 2nd Amendment.

Just CA stores. With all the crap Sacramento requires, can you blame them…

Have you not seen all the businesses that don’t ship to CA (or Ammo vendors).

Not defending them, but with the new laws, what do some people say: don’t comply

I don't shop there anyway, everything in there is available on Amazon for 20%-30% less.

You would "think", they'd keep the one thing in the store that Amazon can't sell, but what do I know...

hard for these stores to find reliable employees that can pass background checks and stay on top of paperwork - reason why Walmart stopped selling ammo.

They still sell some here in Utah but not like before
Haven't even thought about them when considering guns or ammo in a long time.

I also never see anyone buying guns or ammo there.

Just go for my kids' softball, soccer, and pickleball when a sale is on

This. About 5 years ago I tried buying a Chiappa Little Badger on a whim but couldn't because nobody at the store knew how to do the paperwork. I had to come back the next day when the manager was there.
