Just one other little thing.... $50 PPT?

Are you rounding up, or did they actually charge you a flat $50? - ( Wouldn't be surprised if they did. )

        UPDATE

It's a bummer I have to go back but I'm glad they're handling it nicely and not requiring the seller to have to come back.

Ammo Brothers responded back to me via PM and said, "No, we will cover the PPT fee and the seller is not required to be present for the reDROS. So please return to the store at your earliest convenience to start the process. I’ve updated the store managers with outcome of our conversation. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience"

              Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

The PPT fee is $10. You want them to also cover DROS ~$39+.

They should cover full price OP paid to correct their GOOF. Especially since they are insisting on THE REDROS. Which requires another trip to correct.

I still see no reason for the Re DROS. Considering their DES system allows for correction to current DROS.

STILL SOUNDS LIKE MORE MADE UP CRAP.

From a store that has a Loooong history of making up crap.

I had a similar situation a few years ago at Nor Cal Gun Vault. I bought a new S&W Shield from them and during the DROS, my name was spelled correctly, but my first name was put in the last name box and vice-versa for my last name. I felt sorry for the employee; he was young and I think he was fairly new, and he thought he was going to get fired, so I offered to pay for half of the re-DROS. The manger came out and took care of everything at no additional cost. I have no idea if the store had to pay for a 2nd DROS or not, but they were extremely professional and quickly resolved any issues.

After that, I never saw that employee again. I have not idea if he got fired or decided that that gun industry was not for him.

The DES system does allow for limited changes once the D.R.O.S. has been submitted unfortunately changing personally information such as name can not be done. The DES only allow small changes to serial number or physical description of the firearms.

I've had this happen before. It's all on them. If they submitted it into process I believe they are on the hook for the error and your helping them correct it is a gratuity on your part. Don't they have that super duper "manager" sign off system at ammo bros to make sure everything is super duper correct and it just drags out the process because they are inevitably always eating lunch when you're trying to wrap up a PPT? Or did something change...

I think Turner's also has that "super duper manager sign off system". I know some people do not like Turner's but I have purchased new and done PPT's there and always had really good service at the Turner's in Roseville, but ..... I am pretty sure that every single employee in the entire stores reviews the paperwork before it is sent.
