Wolf ammo good ?

I personally would not reload that Wolf Gold Taiwanese brass. I've seen weird case failures with it, on more than one separate occasion. Both times, I was policing my brass at the range, when I saw what I thought was 38 super brass. I picked the case up and it turned out to have been wolf gold 556 brass that had snapped clean about 2/3 of the way up the body of the case, before the shoulder.Comment

American made machine guns won't run steel. I know since I've been shooting machine guns for over a decade.
AK has no tolerance. Of course it will run anything. It will also rattle apart quickly.
Semi auto is not a problem with steel. It does not get hot enough. Sloppy chambers are not a problem either. But guns like the AR-15 and closed bolt guns will have an issue with full auto.
I've broken plenty of ar15 based extractors running steel in full auto guns. Guns like my full auto 1919 are so beefy they just rip the back of the case off the shell and left the rest stuck in the barrel
How much time do you have with various machine guns? I shoot them weekly.
95% of the general public doesn’t own or fire full auto anything. I would say you’re the exception not the rule. When ammo was cheap I used to go to the range once every two month and shoot 3/500 rounds of various steel, my reload or shotgun. When I moved out of OC to Riverside 6 years ago there is a local range and I would go monthly. Same amount of ammo shot. I only slowed down cause ammo was nonexistent. I go every few months now just to keep up foreign relations.Comment
