How is this news?? All CA LE departments were ordered to do this since 2019.

a reminder never hurts. two incidents posted here regarding mag confiscations post injunction show that some cops didn't get the memo. the more times the brass beats them over the head with it, the better.

Great descriptor of that #@*. It would be great to somehow pierce their veil of immunity when they violate the constitution.

All three hole Norincos, as he was saying, are illegal in ALL states.

All two hole 1980s Norincos, Claycos, et al are legal in red states. As long as you keep them away from a drill press

Add a few more years at least. How many people on this forum will have died of old age before this case finally gets resolved? Spin the wheel!

I read about the Handgun Roster case, if a new case is required to be filed and litigated in a district court, the plantiff can request a TRO because of the high probability that the plantiff will win the case. With a TRO in place, is it true that the Handgun Roster can effectively be ignored? Can Judge Benitez issue a TRO in this case also or can't that be done with a case when it is at this stage of the process? Also, can a TRO be issued with no ending date of when it stops? We need to work every possible angle against our tyrant enemies who don't play by the rules, at all and
                  they cheat.

Update - Just watched the Armed Scholar video about this case and he actually very nicely explained the difference between a TRO and Preliminary Injunction. That was actually very helpful to me. He also explained how if Benitez issues either, the State can file an appeal that will take the case back up to the 9th, which seems insane. This means that remanding the case back to Judge Benitez will simply serve as another stalling tactic by the state as he will strengthen his original ruling, the state will appeal and this will get kicked back up to the 9th.

Does anyone know, at that point, is the 9th compelled by law to rule on it or can they just engage in another merry go round of remanding it back down to Benitez in an endless loop of delays? If they are forced to rule on it at that point, there is zero timeline requirement for the 9th to rule, is there? This seems insane, like the judicial system is completely pointless. How do long suffering California gun owners actually get a win out this case before most of us are dead?

It's hard to tell what will happen and just how long it's going to take. About the only data point I know of is a TRO that was put in place against a Colorado magazine ban a couple of weeks ago. The judge is an Obama appointee. As far as I know that has not been stayed. It is a hopeful sign.

Why would this be bad news if Judge Benitez were to administer?

                        Guess I must watch vid.
