My LGS is awash in ARs and AKs, hanguns of all types and endless ammo.

I’ll be looking for some miscellaneous lower parts kits for the AR so I have spare parts. Other then that I’m good.
If anything I’ll need to down size as I’ve accumulated excess parts and stuff over that past panic buying frenzies."A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

Thank you.
Gun sales are up, briskly, since the resident of the white house spoke two Thursdays ago. Inventories are holding steady, and manufacturers are even showing inventory the past few weeks.
Strange times. StandbyComment

We all have different levels of enthusiasm for stuff we enjoy. I collected numerous *things* before I became serious about collecting money for retirement. As one result, I own 5 nice wristwatches, worth low 6 figures. I wear 2 of them often, 1 rarely, and 2 almost never. Result, I'll sell those 2 pretty soon. Luckily I won't lose money on them.
Same with guns. I now own 3 carry guns, 2 competition guns, and 2 cool guns, just because. How many do I need? I might consider buying a rimfire rifle for steel challenge, but for me it's 1 new gun in, 1 old gun out.
Things are different when it comes to consumables like ammo. I buy when I see a good deal, like a box of aluminum cased 9mm for $18.99 at Turner's, and I stack up as much as sanity allows me to.Comment

I feel like anyone in touch with the industry is already stocked up. The only guns I would possibly want at this point are target .22’s or a small upland game combo gun. Ammo prices are still awful, despite the shelves seemingly bursting with ammo at all the shops I go to. I am afraid we may be in a “new normal” kind of situation. With that, I think taking up reloading may be in order.Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.Comment
