Love my Gen 5 17. Trigger is not as good as my Gen 3 but still not bad. Like the back straps. Do a trigger guard cut to the frame and you are good to go.

The Glock was made for the 9mm round, and the Glock 17 is the flagship pistol, aside from that the G45 ( free state ) , Glock 19 are very popular.

Other models I own are the Glock 21 (45 acp ) and Glock 30 - although these are the large Frame pistols - so check jowls they feel before purchasing.

The Glock 20 in 10mm is also popular , but is also a large frame pistol so saa ^..

Either way I started with a Glock 17 and had no regrets - Then bought the 19, 21,20.

Personally between a 17 or the Glock 45 I would go 45. 17 grip with a 19 slide.
