The Toyota Camry of handguns. Top seller, but it's a Glock. Have you shot a Glock? Most people like them, a few hate them with a vengeance. If you want what most other people consider a good handgun, get it.
I have a Glock, it's alright. It always goes bang and I can hit stuff with it so in that view, it's good. It's ugly and the trigger on my Gen 3 sucks but the Gen 5 is better or you can always put in a better trigger. Don't
let your dog get a hold of it ;-)

I don't know if there is a difference mechanically between a 19x and the regular gen5 G19, but my recently acquired G19x has a better trigger out of the box than my old reliable gen3 G19.

Would the difference in perceived trigger pull make a standard gen5 G19 be worth the difference in price in Commiefornia over a gen3? I couldn't really say that it is, but that decision is solely up to the individual.

If you are talking about getting a 19x or a G45, guns that easily available out in free states for $600 ish all day, but will likely fetch twice MSRP in the PRC, I would still say the the juice is still not worth the squeeze.

Glocks are great (and cheap). But if you're in a free state, why not go with a p320?

Then again if it were me, I'd get both.

It’s one of the most if not the most popular handgun of all time, that should tell you all you need to know. Every generation of it is a little better then the last, can’t go wrong with a Gen 5 19.

I had one. I liked it, a bit better than a gen3 due to the backstrap and no finger grooves. Wife took it as hers so now I don't have it. I bought a G 45 to replace it. I like it a lot more.
