    And norcal sig. #1 this is the internet I could care less what people think about me lol. #2 are YOU actually going to do something boy? If not don't get involved
    #3 the whole point of this forum is to ask questions and get feedback from other members... good or bad. And yes I want to know because even on this thread there seems to be a confusion no one can give a direct answer WITH SOURCES rather than just do it to be safe.. and no this is not legal advice 🙄 😒

      Yes, that would satisfy the CA state requirement but the federal law also has this requirement for handgun.

        Go to walmart and buy and return a gun lock every 30 days, if you plan to buy 1 gun per 30 days. Yes, youd be considered cheap (no i dont do this), but it saves you from buying unnecessary and forced locks at the gun store.

          @Cheapbloke
          I tend to buy many C&R guns and I'm actually a FFL03. Working on my COE, just wondering because I'm legitimately confused. If I'm correct C&R don't even need locks this would save a lot of people unnecessary locks regardless of price

            Or have your wife sell you $1 gunlocks from her drawer full of them in the garage and make sure she prints out the Excel receipt for you.

              dude…you’re not wealthy but you stated that you buy a gun every month…..and no youre not buying a box of 22s for $5.
              The more you say the more i think you were the silly wabbit in this FFL yarn spinner of a story.

              Let’s assume you were buying cheap guns….or guns cheap. Let’s assume these guns were selling for a low low price of $300 per gun. Now thats pretty low in todays market but lets go with thatr average cost for easy math sake. That’s still $3600 a year not counting tax fees etc which would add to a…say……$500 to $1000 between the two on 12 guns? Let’s say $500 in fees no tax everything was ppt only.. So $4100 a year…..not a insane price but nothing to sneeze at either.

              i would assume since you’re such a frequent purchaser of guns you would have your own FFL and wouldnt need the services of another FFL.

                First of all buying a gun a month does not mean your wealthy. I'm not buying nighthawks or ed browns. Its pretty doable...I drive an 88 car thats paid off and don't have bills besides college. I work a part time job too. And yes I did buy a box of .22 for 5 bucks not too long ago.

                  Lol this was not my purchase this was my father's as I stated on this thread.. #2 FFL was on file with seller didn't want to inconvenience seller with hassle of a new FFL since I had heard good things about this FFL and was not expecting any of this. Yes I have plenty of FFLs that know me and some that don't know me personally but will do a lot of business. For example I was real cool with Keith from fowlers. BTW I don't like folwers but Keith made me comeback he was truly awesome.

                    If you’re buying a gun every month that means you have disposable income…..which indicates you have some financial means. Unless you’re one of those idiots who scrape up a few hundred bucks and buy **** they can’t afford. Poor people aren’t buying a gun every month. My math was based on relatively cheap guns. $300 isn’t a high end anything. Pretty sure that most guns today sell for at least that price. Used or new youre not getting much under that without a buddy deal.
                    Your one box of .22s for $5 is called a fluke. It just isnt a normal thing. I have a box of old 410 shells I would give away cause i dont shoot that guage. Someone could say I can get 410 shells for free as easy as you say 22 bullets for $5. Sort of a meaningless fact

                    Either way…you had a bad experience. Regardless if itwasselfcaused or a perfect storm of attitude from both parties. Ultimately your story is gonna get buried under a mountain of other stories and things and….. nobody really is gonna stop going to that place because of your experience and post. . I can guarantee you that Aces wont lose any business. You move on with life man. I think you could of handled it a different way but …you didnt. Ive dealt with a lot of FFLs over the years. Had one “bad” experience yearsago. Its been so long I can’t remember the timeline.
                    Stop sweating the small stuff. You’re obsessing over this.

                        And yes I know Aces won't lose any business because clearly he has a following. Good for him I wish him the best. Cut our losses and move on. I was wanted to give my experience and yes .22lr can be had cheap. I even got a discount

                        And sportsmans warehouse

                        If you divide a box of 50 is 4 bucks lol I'm not a fluke. But yes please let everyone involved in this move on thank you.
