CA DROS Delay

Yes it started out delayed then undetermined, and not released.

Not to mention upon the first delay I applied and received my COE. Thinking that would help things. NOPE got delayed again. After this case came out today. it all makes sense now. the state was screwing with people

The initial delay turns into the initial undetermined.

Yes it started out delayed then undetermined, and not released.

I have heard that it typically takes around 3-4 months to clear the problem that caused the initial delay.
Until it's cleared, you will continue to get delays on every DROS as one delayed DROS is cause to delay future DROS so you are stuck until the problem is cleared.

I'm happy you got approved and got to pick it up was this from the same original DROS or did you have to re-DROS and pay again?
I'm still waiting for my Live scan results.

I would hope someone actually read my nasty gram I sent the DOJ. But you never know.
29 days in on the third delay and they release it. WTF??

My FFL contacted the CADOJ this morning. Supposedly the misspelling of my first name isn't the problem. DOJ said they should have it corrected by tomorrow. Told me to check back tomorrow afternoon.

Right after the DROS is submitted it starts as pending, what you described is a normal flow to undetermined: Pending>>Delayed>>Undetermined -- this is what we see for all undetermined. Undertaker is getting hosed.
