Measure from the breech in semi-auto.

The M&P45 Shield with No Thumb Safety features a slim design combined with the proven and trusted features found in the MP SHIELD Pistol Series. At 6.45 inches long, M&P45 Shield is standard with a 3.3 inch stainless-steel barrel. On the left side of the frame, the M&P45 Shield is fitted with familiar operating controls including a simple takedown lever, flat profile slide stop, magazine release and optional thumb safety. For optimum firearm control, the M&P45 Shield is standard with an 18-degree grip angle, aggres-sive grip texture and front cocking serrations.

You're only measuring part of the barrel in that picture. The whole barrel is the 3.3" you posted before.
      Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

45 ammo is expensive and bulky, especially for a service pistol. That limits the appeal of any "plastic fantastic" compared to a counterpart 9mm. GLWS, OP.
That is true. At least $750 is a more realistic asking price.

This is the correct, firearm industry standard and BATFE standard, method for measuring barrel length.

            Per BATFE...
Barrels are measured by inserting a dowel rod into the barrel until the rod stops against the closed bolt or breech-face. The rod is then marked at the furthermost end of the barrel or permanently attached muzzle device, withdrawn from the barrel, and measured.

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

I had to do a doubletake because at first I thought I was looking at my own downstairs barrel =)

I don't see any for sale, what is a good asking for it?

                        Thanks!
You neglected to post that it is a M&P 45 SHIELD which completely changes the valuation from a standard M&P45 series pistol. Though off roster, I don't see this going for more than $500.
