I have a lifetime range membership I bought for $500, it’s an outdoor range with a 230yd rifle range and pistol range. Never had an issue of over crowding. I consider it overcrowded when there’s only one empty lane between me and the next shooter

Mixed reviews sound about right. The membership was actually reduced a bit due to the constant in again, off again limits during Covid.

If Rodralig goes late, I go early to avoid as many people as possible. I like the staff there. Facilities are dated.

As I mentioned I'm a member at The Firing Line in Huntington Beach and Raahauge's in Corona.

This time of year my wife loves to bake cookies, brownies, and other Christmas treats. I've found that if I bring stuff to the counter workers and ROs, they seem to enjoy it.

Don't forget them this holiday season.

          Yes, LPFR.

My only concern is that they really don't have a Range Officer. And since they get a very good share of questionable peeps, especially during the usual hours - safety can be very iffy... So... Just like late this afternoon when I had to visit to troubleshoot an issue with my Glock 19 - a group came in, and my "spider sense" started tingling! I simply packed up and left.

That said - the staff/owners don't really bother me much. They're actually quite friendly with lots of good conversations. I have been patronizing this range for at least 3-years now, and sometimes pass by with a few tokens of appreciation.

Yep! Very dated indeed. But with a 25-yard range just a few minutes out - I just have to contend myself with what is out there...

I have two. Livermore where I am a voting member and CRSO and USI in Concord (Diablo member). Both clubs have different things going on and different atmospheres. I have some friends that belong to two or more of the USI clubs, Richmond and Livermore.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...

Does Livermore allow members or public to bring own steel targets?

Thanks for the input. I'll probably check it out during my lunch one day since I work nearby there as well. I would probably go if I haven't been to range for a while and need a range session in.

Same with me - let my indoor range membership lapse and been doing outdoor BLM land.

I go indoors weekdays when it's empty. I do BLM weekdays to avoid any crowds and idiots. When they work, I shoot. When they shoot, I work.

Any ranges at the East Bay (Livermore area) that offers membership, which allows reservations?

                            Thanks,

Not a member…my favorite range offers it but I would have to go every week to justify the cost (I shoot a lot but not that much)
I never have to wait though, most shooters in TX are church going types, I’m not so Sunday morning is my typical time.
