Was thinking of sending some parts about 6 months ago. Per their site, they looked liked the real deal! Thank God I didn't.
I completely understand about the issues surrounding a death in the family. I've lived thru many.
But the time frame you've described is way out of line. The owner's 1st responsibility to his family. NP Next, it's his business / customers.
Certified letter requiring a signature demanding your parts/ money back then small claims court.
You're waited long enough.
Good Luck.Comment

Good thing you didn't send in parts. You'd be in the same situation I'm in. Thank you, I will try what you suggested. Was thinking of sending some parts about 6 months ago. Per their site, they looked liked the real deal! Thank God I didn't.

So I have a question…if that striped lower is technically a registered gun…then do they have possession of it legally?
Since I assume OP registered the lower, can’t he out these guys as having taken his gun?
I am no expert and am curious as to the status of that lower and how OP can leverage it to get them to give it back. I am not the guy to claim I know much about the law and lowers…and how this craphole state treats something like this.Wilson Protector .45, Springer 9mm Loaded, Franchi Instinct SL .12ga. and some other cool stuff for the kiddos...Comment

I was thinking this same exact thing, if the shop has something that is serial numbered wouldn’t a call to the ATF get the ball rolling? So I have a question…if that striped lower is technically a registered gun…then do they have possession of it legally?

Again, this is my first time ever encountering a situation like this. It's not where there is any dialog/communication, the owner/shop is clearly in the dead and won't reply/return/communicate with me so I'm out of ideas. I wouldn't be surprised if there are other customers in the same boat as I am. I just don't know what to do at this point, I didn't even think the ATF, I will look into this too along with the suggested points above. Thanks all for the inputs, I appreciate this community.Comment

When you dropped off the serialized part did you fill out a form temper early transferring it to them? The legitimate FFL gunsmiths I have dealt with always have you fill out a form
