If some level of government had that information, what would they do with it? How would having that info benefit public safety? How would it benefit law enforcement?Comment

I was doing one purchase a month until the panic buying that wiped out everyone's inventory. These days I have a hard time finding what I'm looking for. I don't like buying online but I even signed up on GunBroker but I haven't bought anything yet.

That's what i did . (The buy now ) buy once cry once. After all was said and done I paid about the same as I would have buying locally . Which by the way was very difficult considering my shop was out of stock and still is out of stock . So it worked out . Sucks that it took 32 days but hey it went a lot faster than my.prior 34 day wait for a rifle I bought last yearLast edited by Deelayed; 12-04-2021, 11:36 PM.Comment

I've seen a few factory new Henry lever actions that are buy now and list at about $100 cheaper than Turner's price but they can't promise delivery on a special order. My FFL charges $116 so in the long run it's a few dollars more for something I can get now rather than wait indefinitely for something than may or may not come in.That's what i did . Wait, DROS is done in real time. The 10 day waiting period is after DROS with all the background check etc.
When you are at the shop doing DROS, they get a response right away. It is either approved, declined or could require a review.
Why you got a call from the shop after DROS doesn't jive with how the process works....Comment

Whoa ! Sounds like you need to cool off . 10 days work for you ? Yeah ? Ok let's make that 30 . Give or take a few .Wait, DROS is done in real time. The 10 day waiting period is after DROS with all the background check etc.

They charge $77 fee for a hand gun or long gun and $37 DROS fee. They are about 10 minutes from my house so I like the convenience. They are not a gun shop, they are a gunsmith that I occasionally use. The next closest FFL charges $87 + $37 and after that it's $125 + $37. If I want to make two trips to Fullerton I can get $50 + $37.

Yeah . That makes sense considering I paid 60 for transferThey charge $77 fee for a hand gun or long gun and $37 DROS fee. They are about 10 minutes from my house so I like the convenience. 37 dros the FSC fee 40 shipping fee then the 1hour drive gasoline fee . Oh and the 3 % CC fee even though I used a debit card . All that minus the dros and fsc took away from the hundred or so bucks I would appear to be saving by using GB. I guess what it comes down to is one way or the other the amount you will pay is the same . The major reason I used GB after all is said and done ends up being availability.
