LAX Ammo pricing!?!?!

anyone tried buying in NV or AZ and drive it back? i know it's not allowed but a few thousand rounds is easy to haul undetected. i mean, who's going to know right? do NV and AZ shops check ID?

If we have, we wouldnt advertise it!

And I assume all ammo sales would be age verified, but not state verified . The only requirement is to be of age to purchase ammo. Your state of ID is not relevant to them. Again, I am 'assuming' all of that - I have ZERO first hand knowledge.

I've purchased advertised weekly deals from them on occasion.
Did not realize their pricing structure was so predatory toward Californians.
I will now boycott this establishment on principle.

Ya, LAX is junk, on top of that they are the only California based ammo store that will not sell to people here (unless you physically go there).

Go with RifleGear, 100% better people and service, and they are quick.

Time to get your FFL 03 and COE!!!

I used to go to LAX Ammo in Inglewood, hyped up prices AND 10.5% sales tax to boot!!! I stopped going to the Inglewood store after buying ammo there 1 time. I went to their Huntington Beach store because it was in a nicer area, the sales staff were awesome and the sales tax as only 7.25%.

Finally got my FFL 03 and COE and started buying online. I haven't stepped foot into a brick and mortar store in 16 months!!!

I don’t understand why every gun enthusiast in the state doesn’t do this. I have never done an ammo background check. I reload all my basic ammo, and have everything else shipped directly to my doorstep at low internet prices with my FFL03 & COE.

I can only think . . . .. oh i have to read and fill out forms, too many steps, lazy, no instant gratification and so on. Maybe $1 a round is reasonable to them

LAX ammo in HB is the worst. Big sign in front pretty much stated if you dont like our pricing then go somewhere else.. really?

I talk to the owner about it and he yelled at me causing a scene. for those reading this. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THESE PEOPLE. Worse type of people in the gun community
